Pricing transparency
All-in fees: 18% standard, down to 15%
Published by Papa's Package LLC (Dover, Delaware). One rate covers platform and processing — no separate processor fee. Volume ladder 18% → 17% → 16% → 15%. Founding cohort locks a lower rate for early creators.
All-in fee (what creators pay)
Papa's Package uses a simple all-in model: creators pay a flat 18% of gross earnings (subscriptions, PPV, tips, paid DMs, and similar). This single percentage covers platform services and payment processing costs. There is no additional processing fee charged to the creator. The platform absorbs the payment processor’s rolling reserve (currently ~5% held for 26 weeks) so creators do not have extra money held for months.
Creators receive the net amount after the all-in fee. No additional platform holds related to the processor reserve.
| Tier | Trailing 30d gross (indicative) | All-in fee |
|---|---|---|
| Standard / new | $0 – $4,999 / 30d gross | 18% |
| Mid volume | $5,000 – $24,999 / 30d | 17% |
| High volume | $25,000 – $99,999 / 30d | 16% |
| Top contributors | $100,000+ / 30d | 15% |
Default product schedule: 18% → 17% → 16% → 15% by trailing 30-day volume. The 15% floor still covers platform + processing (we do not publish below that). Volume-based reductions apply as trailing volume grows. This structure is designed to sit below typical industry standard rates while remaining sustainable for long-term platform quality and support.
Founding cohort (open)
- First 200 creators: locked at a preferential founding rate of 16–17% all-in for 12 months (below the standard 18% rate).
- Volume discounts still apply during the founding window if you qualify for a lower tier.
- Founding creator badge and discovery visibility boost on profile.
- Apply: /creators
What is not an extra creator fee
- Card / network processing — included in the all-in rate; Papa's Package pays processors from its take and absorbs the rolling reserve.
- Optional paid promotions (post boosts, profile spotlights)—prepaid placement products paid to Papa's Package with no guaranteed ROI. Promote charges settle to the company merchant account after payment-processor fees (not to creator balances).
- Taxes — not a platform fee; see the Taxes section below for documentation requirements before payouts.
Taxes
Creators are independent contractors and are responsible for their own tax obligations. U.S. creators must submit a completed Form W-9 before receiving payouts. Non-U.S. creators must submit Form W-8BEN (or W-8BEN-E for entities). Papa’s Package issues Form 1099-NEC to U.S. creators who earn $2,000 or more in a calendar year.
This is platform documentation only—not tax, legal, or accounting advice. Submit forms under Studio → Tax when creator mode is enabled.
Payouts
Creators receive the net after the all-in fee. You get paid every Friday for the week that ended the Monday before. CCBill deposits all funds to us on Monday. We hold them until the following Friday so everything settles cleanly. This protects your payout — we are not keeping your money; we are waiting for the banks to finish processing. Eligible balances are paid automatically — no payout request form. Valid tax documentation is required before the first payout (W-9 for U.S. creators; W-8BEN or W-8BEN-E for non-U.S.). Minimums and destinations are managed in Studio when live; use data export for your own books anytime.
Creators see one all-in rate — not two line items. Processor costs are platform overhead, not a second fee on your Studio balance. Creator share is always calculated on gross.
Money rules (holds, chargebacks, processors)
- All-in fee covers platform + processing. We absorb the processor rolling reserve so it is not a second line item on your Studio balance.
- Balances in Studio show ledger net after fees, minus open pending / processing / held payouts. Live rate: Studio → Earnings.
- Chargebacks & refunds may reverse prior net credits and place open payouts on hold until ops clears the case. False fan disputes may lead to fan account action.
- Processor outages may delay checkout or settlement; we will not invent silent forfeiture fees. Ops may switch backup rails when configured (see Trust & ops runbooks).
- Friday release is ops-controlled with an automatic preflight balance audit — never silent auto-wire.
Changes
We may change the published schedule prospectively with notice in product or on this page. Founding preferential windows already granted are honored for their stated duration unless the account is terminated for cause.
